Raised in the Bay Area of California, Scott began taking up photography in high school, where he got interested in landscapes and nature photography to accompany his love of hiking and backpacking. Mostly shooting black & white at the time because he loved the creativity of the darkroom.

Years later he ended up in Hawai‘i pursuing a graduate degree and has remained ever since, taking his camera with him to capture the beauty and powerful forces that surround him.

He has exhibited in several shows, most recently at an abstract exhibition in Shanghai, China. While focused primarily on landscapes, nature, and abstracts, he also enjoys engaging in street photography on occasion.
